Wei Xiangnan

Communications Officer




Mr Wei Xiangnan is the Communications and Global Advocacy Officer at UNAIDS China Office. Previously he worked for ILO Asia-Pacific Office and China Office, and WFP China Office. He has extensive and solid experience in communications and advocacy. Prior to the work with the UN, he was a journalist with China Radio International (CRI) and worked three years in Nigeria as CRI’s West Africa chief correspondent. He reported extensively on China-Africa relations as well as Africa’s development, politics, economy and culture.
 
Xiangnan holds Master of Arts from China’s Nanjing University and Master of Journalism from The University of Hong Kong.
 
He loves watching and playing tennis.
