The United Nations has launched a broad consultation process for the next global development goals. As part of this Post-2015 work the UN has created a crowdsourcing site called MY World. On the site you can vote for an issue you think needs to part of the Post-2105 discussion. Analytics will be shared on line to show which issues are trending and the top issues will be included in milestone meetings in Monrovia, Bali and New York.
MY World gives people the option to vote on 16 different issues to prioritize (note that AIDS is not part of the 16 voting options). There is also an option to ‘SUGGEST a priority’. Here is where we are encouraging people to type in ‘ENDAIDS’.
To ensure that AIDS is a priority issue in these discussions and that people suggest ‘ENDAIDS’ as a priority, UNAIDS is today starting a two week mini-campaign to reach our partners and let them know how to make their voices heard. The aim is to get 1000+ people to “vote to end AIDS’ in the next two weeks.
To participate in this campaign, please visit http://www.myworld2015.org/ and vote according to the instructions below.
