Three UN-led consultation processes are currently underway to seek input on the post-2015 global development agenda. These consultations will feed into a report to the UN Secretary General, which will be used in developing the post-2015 agenda. These processes, which will be completed by March 2013, include country and regional consultations, consultations with and for the UN Secretary General’s High Level Panel of Eminent Persons and global thematic consultations.

Promoting broad stakeholder input into these consultation processes is a key priority of UNAIDS, in order to ensure that the post-2015 development agenda accurately represents the priorities and needs of various stakeholders.

With this in mind, UNAIDS is running a public consultation process using its social media platforms. These platforms include Sina Weibo, Sohu Weibo and Tencent Weibo. Members of the public, including representatives of key affected populations and other stakeholder groups, are invited to participate in this consultation and provide input which will be submitted to the UN SG via the China consultation process.
